The ASHI CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work. Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.

 

Intended Audience
Designed for individuals in the workplace and community that require or desire basic CPR and AED skills.

Written/Skills Exam: Written and Skills Testing is required for completion card

The ASHI Basic First Aid class is designed for individuals that require or desire a basic knowledge and first aid skills. This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.

Intended Audience
Individuals who require or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children, or both; including:

  • Emergency response teams in business and industry
  • School bus drivers
  • Adult residential care personnel
  • Child care workers
  • Teachers
  • Parents
  • Babysitters

Card Type: ASHI Basic First Aid certification card good for 2 years

Course Length: Approximately 6 hours

Our ASHI CPR for the Professional Rescuer program is designed for individuals in the healthcare of professional rescuer field that are required to have a professional-level basic life support training.

Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking. ASHI”s CPR PRO has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

Intended Audience
American Safety & Health Institutes (ASHI) CPR for the Professional Rescuer program is designed for individuals in the healthcare of professional rescuer field that are required to have a professional-level basic life support training.

Card Type: ASHI CPR Pro certification card good for 2 years

Written/Skills Exam: Written and Skills Testing is required for completion card

EMS Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) available for EMS professionals
