The ASHI CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work. Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.

 

Intended Audience
Designed for individuals in the workplace and community that require or desire basic CPR and AED skills.


Card Type: ASHI CPR and AED for Community and Workplace certification card good for 2 years


Written/Skills Exam: Written and Skills Testing is required for completion card

The ASHI CPR/AED and Basic First Aid class is designed for individuals that require or desire a basic knowledge in CPR, AED and First Aid skills. Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.

Course Length: Approximately 6 hours

Intended Audience: Designed for individuals in the workplace and community that require or desire basic CPR , AED skills and first aid knowledge.

Card Type: CPR, AED and First Aid certification card good for 2 years

Written/Skills Exam: Written Test (First Aid); Written and Skills Test (CPR)

 

 The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers  Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.


Intended Audience: This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Must have current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card or card must not be expired beyond 30 days to attend this class.

Card Type:  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification card good for 2 years

Written/Skills Exam: Written and Skills Testing is required for completion card

La clase de ASHI CPR / AED y primeros auxilios básicos (SPANISH) está diseñada para personas de habla hispana que requieren o desean un conocimiento básico en CPR, AED y habilidades de primeros auxilios. Los estudiantes aprenden cómo reconocer una emergencia que pone en peligro la vida, cómo proporcionar un soporte vital básico y qué hacer en caso de obstrucción o ahogo en la vía aérea. Este programa extremadamente flexible ayudará a los empleadores a cumplir con OSHA y otros requisitos reglamentarios federales y estatales para capacitar a los empleados sobre cómo responder y atender las emergencias médicas en el trabajo.

Duración del curso: aproximadamente 6 horas
